Delivery Options

Mainland UK Delivery

At The Soap Cellar we utilise three delivery options and you can make your own choice at checkout. Please allow ten working days for your order to be dispatched and fifteen working days for orders which include Artisan Soap.*

1. The first choice is Royal Mail and this is suitable for orders less than 2kg in weight and certain post code restricted areas which might find Royal Mail a better option for them than paying a courier surcharge. Please note that this delivery option has a very limited insurance value and with delivery schedules being very dependent on any strike action which might be occuring.

2. Our courier choice will utilise either UPS or FedEx. We have found both services to be very reliable with a consistent delivery service. Our courier rates are set at £7.99 for parcels up to 20kg in weight on a one to two day delivery schedule. We cannot offer a consigment rate and delivery costs are priced per parcel. Two parcels of up to 20kg in each will cost £15.50 and up to 60kg will cost £22.75. Courier charges are capped at £22.75 no matter how large the order. Please note that courier insurance is limited to £50.00 content value. If you require a higher insurance level you can choose to add the surcharge to your order from the Surcharges category of the website. Please note, in the event of non delivery or damage in transit, we cannot and will not refund more than the standard £50.00 if additional insurance is not purchased.

3 We also offer the Collect+ courier option. With this service we deliver your parcel to our local PayPoint outlet and this is conveyed to your closest PayPoint store offering the Collect+ service. Parcels are limited to 10kg in weight but at a cost of £4.00 per parcel it is undeniably an inexpensive option. Your parcel is held at your store for up to ten days and as many stores are open until 10pm you are able to collect your parcel at a day and time totally convenient to yourself. The service is trackable with email notifications throughout the process and especially suited to those customers who might have difficulty in being able to wait at home all day for a courier delivery - for example, those who work outside the home or have family commitments such as taking children to school or activities. Enter your postcode and the system will tell you how close your store is so you can determine if this delivery option is a more convenient option for you.

Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland Delivery

Unfortunately, whilst these UK postcodes are included in Royal Mail delivery addresses they are liable to a surcharge with our courier services. For these addresses, the relevant surcharges are available within the Surcharges section of the website. Please add these to your shopping basket.

European Delivery

Our shopping basket is set up to accept orders from a number of countries within Europe. These are split into two zones as determined by our courier and are as follows:

European Zone 1 - £25.00 per 20 Kilo box
Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Eire (Southern Ireland), Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands and Sweden

European Zone 2 - £30.00 per 20kg box
Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Leichstenstein, Lituania, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.

All other European or International countries will need to contact us first for an accurate delivery quotation.
